ARTBJU is a jewelry boutique specializing in Native American, Biker, Medieval, Egyptian, and other styles, particularly Sterling Silver and Mosaic jewelry featuring stones inspired by Navajo and Zuni cultures. We use Sterling Silver and semi-precious stones sourced from around the world, carefully selected for their unique colors to achieve the best possible final result for your piece.

These jewels are crafted in the OUTDOOR LEGEND CEBU Art Workshop, which specializes in working with silver, as well as gold and other metals such as copper and bronze. Our family-run and friendly workshop is located in Cebu, Philippines, a former American colony in Southeast Asia, where the expertise of our artisans is renowned. Make no mistake; although located thousands of kilometers south of China, the quality of our work is incomparable.

Our aim is not to copy the work of Native Americans, with whom we sometimes collaborate, but to promote this style of jewelry characterized by its aesthetic appeal and esoteric aspirations.

Why the Philippines?

A former U.S. colony (1898), the Philippines is deeply influenced by North American culture, and many of its factories produce handcrafted items destined for the U.S. market. The Outdoor Legend Cebu workshop supplies certain stores in the Southwestern United States and partners with Native Americans, for whom we create designs and jewelry inspired by their culture.

THE STONES WE USE

To achieve the best color rendering in our inlays, we select the finest semi-precious stones and shells from around the world.

Here are the colors and their corresponding stones:

Turquoise: Our turquoise comes from mines in Arizona and New Mexico.

Malachite also originates from Arizona (Bisbee and Morenci) and New Mexico (Santa Rita).

Gaspéite comes from New Mexico, although it was discovered in 1961 in Quebec, specifically in the Gaspé Peninsula, from which it takes its name.

Sugilite comes from Canada.

The orange color in our jewelry comes from the Spondylus, also known as the Spiny Oyster Shell.

Mother-of-pearl comes from various shells and offers a range of shades, from translucent white to gold, including golden yellow.

Pink also comes from shells. We call it Pink Shell.

For black, we use onyx, black tab (a large black shell), and jet.

For red, we use coral and agate.

We also use tiger's eye, brown jet, and snakestone.
